Built in 1916, the Southam building was erected to mett the needs for offices and printing facilities of Southam Printing Co., which explains the elaborate facade, with carved stone statues.
Abandoned during severalr years, the 10-storey building was converted in 2010 to host 81 apartements, with areas ranging between 600 and 2000 ft2.
The building is located at the junction of the Quartier international, the Quartier des spectacles and the business district.
